New Loves..
I recently just finished my lastest addiction: Gossip Girl.
The ending was absolutley tragic. I mean the wedding is blissful, but the Gossip Girl reveal was tedious. I feel as if they chose Gossip Girl on a quick just to end the series after the ratings dropped.
Anyway, my absolute new love is: Pretty Little Liars.
I didn't feel as though I would like it after I was taken in by Gossip Girl and didn't feel much would compare. But oh, how I was so wrong. It is amazing. But how are all these teenage girls so beautiful at the age of high school?!
As you can see, I am addicted to teenage dramas. Although, my favourite is: American Horror Story. By far. It's so sick and twisted but I am so intrigued by the fantasy of it all. I am a little weird in that way.
I've also been trying to watch: Community, Better Call Saul, Arrested Development and Always Sunny in Philadelphia. My brother gives me the heads up about good series' and demands I watch them all. Recently, he drunk messaged me telling me that Community is the best show he has watched in at least four years. Strong statement. Amongst the constant pictures of space animals I feel like I should take his word.
Netflix series' aren't my only loves. Coffee is. Iced coffee. I've been sampling the different ones from Costa and Starbucks and i've decided that i've found my favourite. The new: Starbucks Iced Maple Macchiato. If you haven't tried it, then get on it now!

First MAC Purchase.. Ever!
I've been wanting some MAC makeup for such a long time, but I just haven't had the time to go in there and choose from their vast range of products and colours.
I went into Fenwicks, Canterbury and shopped from their counter, as there is no single MAC store in Canterbury. The staff were lovely and very helpful. So after pondering their whole range, in hope of there may being a single item left from the Cinderella range, I decided that lipstick would be my first purchase.
There are so many colours and textures, such a hard decision when you are starting out! I've been really liking nude colours, as I feel like bright colours don't suit me as much, so I asked the staff and they pointed me out a more brown coloured lipstick but I decided I wanted a more pink tone so they gave me the 'Pervette' Glaze lipstick and I fell in love.
The tones are soft and subtle, it's a subtle pinky colour with a slight glimmer, which you can layer up to build up more of a shimmer to your lips.

Creme Egg Brownies!
So I've been really ill this week, I think there must be a bug going around my university. I managed to work a six hour shift preparing myself to run to the away every 10 minutes when I felt queezy, but I managed to make it through! Thank God! Then I did indeed get home and turned out I was not okay!
I had to take the last photo on my GoPro because my phone ran out, so learn to love the Fish Eye!
As a little treat to myself I decided that brownies would cheer me up. I've seen these Creme Egg Brownies all over my Instagram and Twitter feeds, and my housemate loves Creme Eggs so we though we would give them a go.
As students we decided to cheat a little and buy ready made brownie mix to save money and time, we then bought eggs, oil, Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs (i'm not a fan of Creme Eggs).
I made the mixture as it said on the box and baked it for 20 minutes on 180. I then poured hot water on a knife and sliced the Creme Eggs in half. I took the brownie out the oven so that it still had around 7 minutes to still cook and added both types of egg in and then put it back in for the extra time. Don't put the eggs in for the whole time!

I'm Back!
I'm here, finally!
Life at uni is so stressful. I know I am doing English Literature and American History so therefore the blame is on me. But, I did not realise the amount of deadlines I would have in the same period of time. I've had seven in the space of a month. SEVEN.
I'm currently on my "Reading Week" in which I am meant to study the materials of my subject in detail. This I am not. I am using this week to read: Oryx and Crake. A girl on my English course suggested the book by Margaret Attwood so I bought it on my Kindle, around about £4. First of all I downloaded the sample, read that and immediately was drawn in to read more. I don't usually read this kind of science-love hybrid genre but it really has captured me on the story of "Snowman".
I didn't just download Oryx and Crake. I also bought two Dante books, The Inferno and The Divine Comedy - I've been meaning to read these amazing pieces of Italian literature for quite a while now, I'm extremely interested in foreign literature and plan on learning the languages to read the literature in the way it was meant to be read. I also bought Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, which I have heard many good things about. Additionally, The Illiad - Homer, The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde and Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte, all classics. I have a lot of reading to keep my summer interesting whilst sunning myself in Portugal.
I also bought one of my favourite author, Jodi Picoult's newest book, Leaving Time. If you have a spare hour, download the free short story she wrote named: Where There's Smoke which gives you an insight into her new book. I love her literature, it's so moving and I don't find it as tedious as some.
For Uni I have to read: Slave in a Box: The Strange Career of Aunt Jemima and Off-White Hollywood to choose which to write a book review on. Both about the discrimination and portrayal of African-American people in the past. I also have an English Literature essay to write, but I haven't even read the question yet!
I hope you take some inspiration from my reading list and sample some of this literature yourself!

Sorry for my Absence
Happy Holidays Everyone!
I apologise for my absence on my blog and will be getting back on track with posts shortly.
I have had such a hectic few months in which I have had countless assignments due in at my university in the space of two weeks. This meant I was up until 5am each morning and spent hours consolidating over the tiniest flaws in my head.
I chose my Christmas break to relax and have some time to de-stress whilst in the company of my three year old Weimaraner, Digby. In my diary, I have to shop before Christmas, then spending Christmas day with my family, Boxing Day consists of the traditional football match at my home team Charlton Athletic in South East London and then we have an alcohol infused night with family and friends and then the day after is the time to just sit and appreciate. Obviously, we then have New Years and a week after is my nineteenth birthday (which I will be writing an exam on the same day! Boo!). I have two essays and a project due in in the space of a week! Pray for me!

Paris
It may be cliche to say but Paris is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. I am still in awe from the times that I have been and it seems to never get old. If you haven't been then it should be on your bucket list.
